OUR SURGERY

St John’s Dental Practice is situated in the centre of Oxford. We have five surgeries, all equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.

DISABLED PATIENTS

We have one ground floor surgery for our physically disabled patients. Please let us know in advance if you have a problem with stairs, and we will ensure that you are given an appointment in the ground floor treatment room.

PATIENT CHARTER

Our Patient Charter is a statement of how our Dental Practice operates and the standards of care that we apply to all our patients.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To listen to your dental problems and to give you an explanation of treatment and solution to your problem that you can understand.
  • To respect your dignity and the choices you make.
  • To co-operate with other members of our dental team and other health care colleagues so as to act in your best interest.
  • To follow the latest cross-infection guidelines ensuring your safety is of prime concern.
  • To do all we can to keep to appointment times as we understand your time is precious.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

St Johns Dental Practice is committed to providing our patients with exceptional dental care and service. We understand that plans may change, and we are more than happy to rearrange appointments, provided we have sufficient notice.

When a patient cancel’s without giving enough notice, this may prevent someone else from being seen. To help us maintain this level of care we politely request that we are given at least 48 working- hours’ notice of any cancellations.

Please call the practice directly on 01865 515967 to notify us of any changes or cancellations to your appointment.

Deposits will be taken for all  appointments. Failure to notify the practice within the requested time will result in the loss of your deposit.

If you have paid a deposit and you provide the right notice of any cancellations, then your deposit will be held on your account and can be used against the cost of any future treatment.

Please ask for the manager, or express your concerns in writing addressed to the practice manager.We hope that you will use our Practice Complaints Procedure.
